I have a project where numerous brands have ongoing articles. It would be efficient to have these articles in documents in a single container referenced to the brand with a template variable.

However, there needs to be security of allowing a Manager User for each brand to only edit or add articles referenced to that brand. I understand how to set up security if the articles were in containers for each Brand’s Manager User but that seems terribly inefficient. 500 to 1000 brands, some with a few articles and some with many and located in that many different containers.

Any other ways to look at this where it is possible to have Manager Users access to only their brand’s articles in a single container? Thanks

ManagerManager have a resource restriction option. As it’s possible to
use PHP inside the M-M Rules chunk that could be one approach.
Then have a plugin set a hidden TV value as mark.

      Just a thought...

Mr. Haw, I thank you for this. I have not used ManagerManager but I do follow what you are thinking there with the php. Thanks.
