I’ve just installed modx evo & revo separately in my FreeBSD 8.0 machine and I’m currently trying some sample pages on them.
But in the manager section when I create a new resource, and type in non-ascii characters such as "ş" (which is used in e.g. turkish) those characters are not displayed correctly in the manager pages, i.e. not supported.
I’ve been unable to find where the necessary setting might be. I’ve already set the char settings to utf-8 wherever I find them.
I’ve been trying modx also on a Mac OS X machine and there’s no such non-ascii problem on modx manager, but please note that I also run Movable Type CMS on that FreeBSD 8.0 machine and on it, all non-ascii characters are displayed correctly; so I think the OS plays a little role in this problem.
What do you suggest?
