    We have a test server in our office that has a slew of modx installs on it for projects that are in beta or only available to staff (no public access). Today all the modx installs have started acting strangely when inputting data into the database.

    Example A:
    If I create a page that has an ’(such as test’s) in the copy, I get test\’s as the output when viewing the page.

    Example B:
    I add a table to page, but when viewing source in a browser I get this output:
    <table border=\"0\">
    <tbody>
    <tr style=\"color: blue;\">
    <td>test</td>
    <td> </td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td> </td>
    <td>test</td>
    </tr>
    </tbody>
    </table>

    Last week our server tech did add some php extentsions on the test server (php_extension - curl,
    php_extension - xmlrpc). Not sure if that would cause this or not.

    Any thoughts? The modx installs are Evolution 1.0.0

    Thanks

        Thanks...

        That was the problem, the server tech upgraded to php 5.3.2 without notifying me >:(

        a little .htaccess magic later and all is working again.
