I am new to MODx, please excuse the dumbness of the question, but, i cant figure it out:

I have a document of type xml/text that aggregates others blogs, the code works fine if the format is set to ’html’, but returns a parsing error when set to ’xml’.

    [!Ditto? &parents=`3` &filter=`tvblogCategories,Design,7` &format=`html`!]

    The error:

XML Parsing Error: XML declaration not well-formed
    Location: http://www.ventoline.co.uk/blog/index.php?id=23
    Line Number 1, Column 31:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="" ?>
    ------------------------------^

So i guess i am missing the encoding type, how can i fix this? huh

Looking at the source code for the page it shows a <p> tag wrapping the content.
I suspect you have the RTE turned on for that page in the Manager.
Turn Tiny MCE of and it may solve your problem.
Also shouldn’t it be &format=`rss` in your snippet call?
