    I’v yet to figure this out after searching and playing around. currently using the menu from muddydogpaw’s http://www.muddydogpaws.com/development/wayfinder/examples/example-2.html

    i want to insert a "." between the menu items. I know how to do this if coding the menu all by hand which would be
       	      <div id="Top_menu"> <div class="menu">
        <ul>
            <li><a href="http://atuttledesign.com/" title="home">home</a></li>
            <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>
    <li><a href="/index.php?id=49" title="portfolio">portfolio</a></li>
            <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>
    <li><a href="/index.php?id=48" title="services">services</a></li>
            <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>
    <li><a href="/index.php?id=47" title="about">about</a></li>
            <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>
    <li><a href="/index.php?id=6" title="contact">contact</a></li>
            <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>
    <li class="last active"><a href="/index.php?id=2" title="blog">blog</a></li>

        </ul>
    </div> </div>

    though when i edit the cssplay_parentRow chunk to include the menu separator character
     <li> <li><a [+wf.classes+] href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]</a>
        <!--[if lte IE 6]>
        <a class="sub" href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]
        <table><tr><td>
        <![endif]-->
        [+wf.wrapper+]
        <!--[if lte IE 6]>
    	</td></tr></table>
        </a>
        <![endif]-->

    </li>
     <li> <span style="color:#df1c3e">.</span> </li>

    i dont get the "." character outputted to be output in the menu on the page. i even tried replacing the "." with &#46;

    Does anyone have any idea’s. or another method on how to get the "." in between menu items while still using a wayfinder call? vs just hard coding it.

    Thanks for any help

      Putting your line of code in the chunk that is called by Wayfinder with this parameter
      &rowTpl
      worked for me. It’s hard to see the dot - it appears in the middle of the row. To test it I swapped it out for the "#" character.
      FWIW, the chunk I used was the cssplay_row code that’s on that site.

        Sweet that did it thanks a ton MattC, i dont know why i didn’t test putting it into the cssplay_row i had tested putting it into all the other chunks but that one. doh

        ok, now that it’s working how do i get the last "." <li> for the menu not to show up. or hide it somehow?
