MODx Revolution 2.0 RC-3 Released!
The MODx Team would like you to know that MODx Revolution 2.0 RC-3 is out and
ready for download.
This will be the final RC release. The next release will be 2.0.0-pl, the final GA release.
There are 2 versions available:
Traditional (modx-2.0.0-rc-3.zip) - For regular users and users who don’t have root/sudo access to their machine.
Advanced (modx-2.0.0-rc-3-advanced.zip) - For those who want a smaller download and compressed install and have root/sudo access to their machine.
Note: Revolution 2.0 (since Beta-5) requires PHP 5.1.1 and above.

- German and Russian translations available
- Added Form Customization ability to add new tabs, move TVs into different tabs
- Translating of snippet properties now available
- Added ago, fuzzydate, data, stripString and replace output filters
- Date TVs can now store time, time format is a system setting
- Many UI improvements, such as collapsing left tree, better CSS for top menu, cleaned up TV panel, and much more ongoing UI improvements
- Secured AJAX requests in manager+connectors, prevents middleman or session attacks
- Many IE fixes and tweaks
- 100+ other issues fixed and tasks resolved
As with all releases, and to help get us closer to the Generally Available (GA) release, please
submit bug reports and feature requests. You should also
read the documentation, post
feedback and successes, and
follow along with development.
