jot with modx revolution

Hello all. I’ve Googled this for hours and scoured the forums but wasn’t able to find a solution. I would greatly appreciate any help/advice you have to offer.

I installed the latest release of Revolution and everything has been working fine, even with Ditto. I would need to have jot to enable comments but it doesn’t appear to work. The error I get is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method modX::getUserData() in /home/name-of-site/public_html/assets/snippets/jot/jot.class.inc.php on line 35

Does anyone know how to solve this or if there’s a modified version of jot which works with Revolution?

There is no Revo version of Jot as far as I’m aware, but have you looked at Quip? (http://modxcms.com/extras/package/538)
