Hi,
I’m just starting working with MODx, as after checking few dozen CMSs it turned out to be the best balance between user-friendliness and flexibility. I’ve got one doubt, though.
I’m gonna need multiple site versions:
1. flash - actually that’s gonna be xml for feeding data into the flash frontend
2. html - for flashless browsing (or older computers, mobile devices, etc.)
3. wml - for older mobile phones
Obviously, I want to base it all on one CMS instance, so changes in administrative panel influence all front-end versions. I’ve been searching, but I didn’t find a definitive answer whether I’m able to do this and what’s the way to go.
Is it possible to just make a subdomain or a GET variable influencing which template is being used?
Or alternatively, should I make separate pages for all versions and just link content from one version to the others?
Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
