Yeah, just as a general debugging rule: ALWAYS try using an uncached version of the Snippet first (i.e. [!YourSnippet!] instead of [[YourSnippet]]).

I think the way that Chunks get cached can nullify any cached Snippets...

the other one thats good is copy the "output" of the snippet and paste it on a chunk. worked for me when used EasyNewletter in 3 languages on the same site.
havent tries with other snippet dough.
