Hi.
I have latest 1.0.2 and got problems with character "č" or "Č". To get working correc, i need to use HTML code but after new edit, editor mess up those characters again.
Database and table is in collation utf8_general_ci and in config.inc.php i have $database_connection_charset = ’utf8’; $database_connection_method = ’SET NAMES’;
I really dont know where to look.
Anyone can help me on this?
Thanks.

Check if your language file, located in ’manager/includes/lang’ has $modx_manager_charset set to UTF-8
Also check if your MODx configuration in Tools -> Configuration is set to utf8.

Did you check your MODx configuration settings too?
Does it mess up on your site only or in your editor too? If it’s only your site, please be sure to set the correct charset in the html.

This configuration, see screenshot. Do you have link to the page with the characters on it?

Are you using a UTF-8 encoded manager language file? If not, that could be the problem. Or was this upgraded from an older version of MODx that was being run as UTF-8 against a latin1_swedish_ci database?
