Linking Resources(Pages)

Hi everyone!

I’m not using wayfinder for my site’s menu. Instead, I’m using images. How do I go about linking to my resources? Does Modx create a file that I can point to or something? I’m new and lost. Thanks!!!

In Evolution:
```
[~resourceId~]
```
will return the href of a MODx Resource where resourceId is the id of the Resource, e.g.
```
<a href="[~2~]">Link</a>
```
would create a link to the Resource with id 2.

In Revolution, the syntax is slightly different:
```
[[~resourceId]]
```
so the example above would be:
```
<a href="[[~2]]">Link</a>
```
