[Solved] local site being immediately redirected to remote site

Hi,

I pulled my remote site down to my local PC. Now when i open the LOCAL manager i am immediately redirected to the remote site.
- i used the SQL search / edit to change the 3 path items in the database configuration (File base path, File Browser URL and File Manager path) in the LOCAL database (system_settings table)
- i insured that there was nothing weird in the manager\config.inc.php file
- i tried to do an install (update) but when i attempt to run the install (http://localhost/modx/website-name/install/), again i am immediately redirected to the REMOTE site (which has no install directory so i get a 404 not found error)

What file might be redirecting me?

Sounds like the .htaccess file doing something.

I’ve been trying to learn how to redirect some of my URLs and i totally forgot about this.
