this is a newbie question so apologies in advance.
I want to add an image to a page and a clickable link to a PDF document.
I uploaded the image but it doesn’t display in the page. When I checked the image URL I saw that it is incorrect, it is in this format:
http://domain-name.com/section/pagename/assets/images/imagename.gif
The correct format should be
http://domain-name.com/assets/images/imagename.gif
I inserted the image in a page one level down from the root and it displays correctly and the URL is correct.
I had a look in Tools --> Configuration. I cannot see anything obvious in there. I have Friendly URLs switched-on.
I am running MODx version 1.0.2
I suspect I am missing something fundamental here. Could anyone give some advice please?
