I have a jquery library that I’m using and have added the call to include the js, but when I’m logged in as manager, my scripts don’t work, because there is another js library being called and they are at conflict.
is there a way to only have one at all times.
It’s not a big deal really, as everyone else will see the site properly, but if there’s an easy fix I’d like to know what it is.

I don’t think there is an easy fix for js conflicts. I usually use 2 browsers in situations like this: one that I’m logged into and the other as a "reality check".
that’s kind of strange that there’s no fix for this, don’t you think?
I’m using the google loader to call the jquery library, it would be nice if modx had the option for when and where from to load.
but it’s not really that important. I’m just thinking of a hypothetical situation where a client freaks out because it doesn’t look the way it’s supposed to because he/she is logged in.

That’s totally a valid concern: clients freaking out when behavior changes when they’re logged in. But conflicts between js libraries is just a fact of life for web development; it’s not confined to MODx.
What library are you calling?
When you log in QM adds jQuery in noConflict() mode...
In the QM config options you can disable QM for certain documents...
The best solution is of course to find the conflict.
there is that, but I’m using an external library built on another library so it would take me a while, as I don’t do a lot of stuff with jQery.
It looks like this stuff is added before the end of head,
but maybe it would be possible to have a placeholder for this stuff.
