i’m in the process of doing research for a new site. It will be a real estate site listing properties for rent in 3 different countries.
in addition to the location details each property will be have a number of other relationships: similar other properties, nearby schools, transportation options, nearby shopping, parks, sport venues, entertainment etc.
Different areas and related business will be available for user rankings and reviews.
So i’m wondering what is the best technology for such a project. One alternative is to code everything from scratch in MODx. The other is to integrate phpMyDirectory for the property listings into MODx.
What do you think?

Has anybody integrated phpMyDirectory into MODx? Their site says that it can be integrated with Drupal and Joomla.
