MODX Multilingual – Setting up Babel

Creating a Multilingual website can be tricky to do no matter wich framework or CMS you use. As always doing it in MODX is not that difficult.

In this tutorial I will show you how to setup a multilingual MODX Revolution website using the exellent Babel package. Our goal is a default English website (http://modxtutorials.com) and two websites with alternative languages: Dutch (http://modxtutorials.com/nl/) and German (http://modxtutorials.com/de/). These websites will be very easy to manage from within one MODX manager and creating/managing translations of pages should be a breeze.
