What would be even better is to have a button to lock the actual resource tree so that clicking on the resource in the tree would select it, as the parent and weblink fields do in Evo. I wrote the modification to allow selecting the resource to use for a weblink in Evo, and it wasn't at all difficult. However, working with extJs and Revo's manager code is still a ways beyond me.
@sottwell - I had the same idea. The resource tree is already doing the hard work and I think it would be pretty logical from a usability point of view. I'm not not sure I'm up to writing this functionality either. Anyone else want to volunteer?
@fourroses666 - I agree, it would be nice if we could switch on the old functionality, even if it's switched off by default. Most of my sites have 40 pages max so I don't think this should cause MODX or TinyMCE any problems.
Yea same here, all sites i make don't have that uge ammount so i don't need any search. Good idea Sottwell.
