Hello to you all,
I’m currently in the process of creating a website for a Shoe-company, and they want a collection page.
There will be 4 main catagories, within you would have men or women en the the shoes....
What would be the best way to go about doing this?
Do i use revo or evo for this? The revo gallery plugin does not seem powerfull enough and I can not get the gallerific plugin to work.
On evo, i’m thinking 1 page per product, have a bunch of tv’s on that page to create the details and a summary page generated by maxigallery?
Any suggestions are welcome.

I would personally use Revolution and getResources.
Setup your site structure in such a way that the products are children of your categories (how you explained it for your evo solution, pretty much). Then give your product resources one or more image template variables.
Using getResources with &includeTVs you can then use the image variables in your &tpl chunk to style as you see fit.
(This solution can also be done in the same way on Evolution, but then with Ditto, but I’m in favour of moving on - you may end up looking for features in Revolution as you are working on the site.)
