If you didn’t make any changes between the last time your site was up and now it could be your hosting company has upgraded the PHP version to 5.3. Look in your cpanel or whatever admin panel your host provides and see what version of PHP is running.

Yep indeed they are on PHP version 5.3.1 and I have just noticed other sites offline also.

Is the fix to upgrade? :’(

Various version of the MODx 9.6.1 onwards, however just spoke to the server guy who said they upgraded today and I just upgraded one of the sites to 1.0.2 and its now back online so only about another 10 to go wish my ftp was quicker.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction

            Regards

One approach regarding the FTP problem is upload one zipped copy of MODx1.0.2 to your host then unzip it on the host. If you have cPanel it’s a breeze using the file manager. You can then use the file manager to copy the files into each of your sites. Much faster than unzipping on your desktop and trying to upload to each individually. That will take you forever! smiley
