How to remove a "category" in MODx 1.0.2

After some tests and trial I want to cleanup my MODX 1.0.2 site.
No problem to delete extra template, TV and chunks but I still have some categories I want to delete but I don’t find how to do that.
Do you have any solution without entering the database or proceeding to a new installation?

In the Manager go to Elements -> Manage Elements -> Combined View

The category has to have something in it or else it won’t show up in that list; when you delete the category the item will be shown in the "uncategorized" catagory and can be moved to whatever category it really belongs in.

Thanks for the answer but in Version 1.0.2 I dont see the option "combined view"

In the page "manage Elements" I have the following options (translate from french to english)
"Template" "Template variable" "Chunks" "Snippets" "Plugins" and "All elements"

Options in the "Elements" menu are : "manage Elements", "manage File" and "manage meta tags and KW"

All Elements is the combined view.

I have Combined View on mine too.

ok I got It the french translation for "Combined view" is "Tous les éléments"
