MODx Manager: Tools: Configuration Paths

When I open "Manage Files", I find a list of only those files living in the Manager folder (and not the Assets folder). I am suspecting my configuration paths could be the culprits, and also whether having my files in a mirrored-site setup (I am building the site while the old one remains live) may be contributing to the problem?

Current paths are:
Tools/Interface/File base path: /home/username/site.org/assets/
Tools/Interface/File Browser URL: assets/
Tools/Interface/Path to CSS File: /css/styles.css
Tools/FileManager/File manager path: /home/username/site.org/

Mirrored site url is: site.[host].com

I’d greatly appreciate some help with this (been through the forums 3 times and tried everything I can think of... )

Big question is whether mirrored site setup affects any of the path settings??

Tools/FileManager/File manager path: /home/username/site.org/ should be the setting. Make sure you have allow_root set to true as well. The files in the manager should be excluded from the view. Very odd...

Thanks, OpenGeek... Found the solution, but it’s not one I even considered until nothing else was left! The culprit? Admin usernames (two of them) were somehow corrupted (no idea how.. Weird? Agreed!). Created a new one, and...Hello, files.

Maybe this simple test could be added to troubleshooting department? Maybe already there?
