New to the forums and have tried to stay away from asking newbie type questions - I’ve been dabbling with Modx for a few months and in the past couple of days have made a concentrated effort with the above book - going through page by page religiously and not jumping around - wanting to jump ahead as I sort of know what stuff I want to do with Modx but remaining disciplined and going chapter by chapter
I’v been beating myself up this morning for more than a few hours on Ditto & XML formats - have done a simple Ditto page

but that then that’s not been working and been getting a no feed error message in IE and message below in FF

Howver just sussed that if I uncheck rich text in page settings and save, (still get error message) but if I go back in and edit again and check richtext box delete <p> and </p> at the end, save it then works
???
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong in setting up the original page - think it was purely by luck that I’ve sort of got it working
