Embed Twitter within modx

Hi,

I would like to embed my twitter messages within our modx site, are there any tutorials or even plug-ins which will allow me to easily include my tweets within our new site?

Ideally I would like some type of filtering to only show selected tweets within my home page.

Any suggestions/ideas welcome

There is also an unreleased Twitter snippet (its the one used here) but it will need to be ported to 0.9.6x-Evo since I built it for the modxcms.com site.

If I have time and there is interest I can finish it or put it on Google Code.

Why google code and not a revo package ?

I was thinking Google Code as a project not as a place to store the release package but to get other developers to work on it. I would certainly release as a package but it is not a complete and robust solution yet. It needs some development yet. It works but certainly could use some work to tighten it up.

In addition I don’t know if I will have time to back port it to the 096x/Evo.

Finally, there are features I wanted to add and the Twitter API wrapper needs updating as the one used uses the old API (although the search API which my snippet mainly relies on) is the same.
