Has anyone done this, instead of adding a <weblink> to the /forms/index.php page of the SMF forums, I would really like that the forum be loaded into a CSS placed div on my main MODx site as either a new document, or snipit or what ever i can use to get it there. Any thoughts?
Also, on another note, I have been thinking I am going to add to the webuser profiles some custom fields. Anyone have a problem with this in the past? Any suggestions on how a user may be able to modify his/her own profile as a webuser?
And lastly, I want to be able to send a user name and user ID (custom id) to the [[webLogin]] from a remote location using HTTPREQUESTS post method and have the site check to see if the user is registered or not, if not to register the user with both the modx and smf forums (I presume that if registering with MODx they will automatically be registered with SMF as the SMF module seems to be working fine. Possible? Any thoughts?
