Integrating into simple html site...

All I want to do is... add a little line of code and badabing the text on the page can be edited with Modx. Nothing but the text so help me God! Not the navigation, the design, nothing. Just the text. Is this possible and easy?

Probably. But really, sounds like a better application for a different system ... like a simple php include maybe.

You could just make a template in modx and give it a [*content*]. So just copy over your complete html page in a template and paste in the [*content*] tag.

But I think it is better to build a simple php script that enables you to edit the page like Ryan says, modx is a bit overkill for just 1 page that needs a editable content field
