MODx Manager - Getting logged out when trying to save

I’m trying to edit content in the MODx manager and am getting logged out when I click save or even cancel. Sometimes I get logged out due to a few minutes of inactivity. I’m working on a Mac with Firefox.

mysql version: 5.0.45
php version: 2.11.2.1

Did you try to login with Safari? Could you tell us if it has the same problems than?

Same issue with Safari... I think it has to do with folder permissions. I deleted everything and reinstalled MODx from the beginning and it wouldn’t allow me to delete the "install" folder this time either in addition to the same problems on the Manager. Does anybody know what the folder/file permissions should be after installation?

Sounds more like an overzealous session garbage collection going on with the server. Might check with your host and tell them the symptom.
