Thanks, I’m enjoying doing this series.
I have to say I’m finding MODx to be very powerful and flexible. I’m definitely still learning and don’t even feel like I’ve scratched the surface. I’m looking forward to building my skills and giving back as much as I can

I can’t really say I’ve done a comparison of the two, but I do like Drupal a lot, I like all the modules out there and all the stuff I can do with it. It’s got a great community, and so does MODx, and I have to say I have found the MODx community very responsive and enthusiastic!!
I had a harder time starting out with MODx than with Drupal because I found the MODx documentation not to be very newbie friendly or detailed enough (hence my tutorial series
). In contrast, Drupal has a lot of documentation, blogs, books etc, out there. But then Drupal has been around much longer, and I do feel MODx is improving a lot in that area.
I have the sense that in the long run I will be able to do a lot more with MODx, but I’m still learning, and will probably be able to make more useful comparisons as I learn more.
Definitely loving MODx!
