MODX BOOKS

the only book I could see was this

and its not released yet.

Are there any others published that folks would recommend?

You’re right, it hasn’t been released yet. According to http://www.packtpub.com/modx-web-development it’s expected March 2009. Btw the book’s cheaper here

Do you know if the new book will be for modx Evolution or Revolution, as I guess we don’t yet know how the Revolution will turn out in final release form ?

Evo. Was done on 0962 code base.

I’ve made a proposal for a Revolution book and some publishers have expressed an interest. Acquisition editors are always optimistic, though, and it remains to be seen if it will get past the higher-level editors. If it flies, it probably wouldn’t be out for quite some time.

It would sure be nice to see modx in print  Hopefully many more books will follow

I was in Barnes and Noble yesterday checking out web books. There were quite a few Drupal and Wordpress books so it would be nice to see one MODx title.

I am sure this book will get instant reviews when it comes out...
