Posting to a specific parent

I’m creating a client portfolio section on a website and I wondered is there is a way to adapt newspublisher so that you can choose which parent folder the new entry is published in. For example generating a drop down menu of clients (which would be the parents) then selecting one of these to publish your page to. Any help would be great as I’m quite new to this. thanks

I don’t know about newspublisher, but FDM http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,14977.0.html can certainly handle it.
