    Hi,

I am creating a website in ModX which uses several different templates.

One of the templates displays information about training courses. I have set up several template variables to allow us to specify things like course length, start date, entry requirements and so on. In the public pages, the template displays the values of the template variables. So far, so good.

What I want to do is this ...

This particular template doesn’t display the ’Document Content’ at all - we don’t need it. All that we need on this page is the template variables. What I want to do is remove the ’Document Content’ box from the ’Edit Page’ screen in the backend so that we only see the basic page variables (such as Title, Long Title, etc) and the specific template variables for this template. At the moment the large ’Document Content’ box is just a hinderance which forces us to scroll down to get to the template variables.

I’m not sure if this is possible. I hope someone can tell me one way or the other.

Another idea ... is it possible to set up a customised ’Edit Page’ page which only shows the fields I want to show?

    Cheers in advance

Thanks so much. The HideEditor plugin seems to work perfectly.

        Cheers
