Simple Color Hover Vertical Menu Demo

Fun with the English language. Enough already! Back in the day (2000) - I was working my way through Joe Gillespie’s CSS tutorials on his website: "Web Page Design For Designers" (he was talking about print graphics designers) http://www.wpdfd.com/editorial/articles.htm
I fell in love with the menu on one of his css demos. After some work I managed to get it into semantic xhtml 1.0 form. It can easily be adapted.
