I was editing content in the adminpanel, clicked on save....., waited..., waited some more and finaly i’ve decided to close down my webbrowsertab and reload the adminpanel. The next thing i saw was the following error report:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/etc/www/assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php on line 3222

I’m not a phpexpert, so i don’t know exactly what to do. The way i see it, it seems like a cachingproblem.
I have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    John

Never mind. I’ve found the solution. I’ve taken a look at the cachefile (siteCache.idx), went to the given line where the error occured and noted that the last piece of php code wasn’t closed correctly with a semicolon. I removed that piece and all is well again grin

      • You could probably go into the manager and clear the cache to resolve the issue as well.

        • Not if the manager won’t load because of the error in the cache file.
