    for styles in fckeditor you can put something like
    @import url("/start/nameofthecsssite.css");
    in the top of the archive fck_editorarea.css in the assets plugins folder and only change before
    the xml for custom styles defined in the main css
    if your background is defined in the main css file the editor changes to this you can prebent making the background color in the html or puting before import url again the body color again.

        ... and only change before
        the xml for custom styles defined in the main css

        If this tip is just to make FCKEditor use your site CSS styles in the edit area, you can do it by defining a path to your css file in Administration > System Configuration > Interface & editor settings > Path to CSS file
