I wonder if Modx could integrate a function while logged in to the manager...

Considering it’s 2:00 a.m. at the moment, and my brain is fried for the evening, that function would really come in handy right now.

A plugin to load a bit of Javascript with an alert would probably be the best way, since the server’s time may well have no relation at all to your time (mine is half-way around the world from me), while Javascript time functions work on the local machine’s time.
But then why not just set up your local machine’s clock or calendar feature to do the same thing? Get a recording of your parent/spouse/cat/dog, and use it as the alarm sound. That way it would catch you even if you quit MODx and got caught up reading Slashdot or something.
