New to MODx...Good solution for my website project?

    I am building a website for a clothing/apparel company (not sold on e-commerce yet...)

    I read some good stuff but have a couple questions.

    Requirement:

    - products in multiple categories
    - robust e-commerce solution (once they do)

      You’d definitely end up using VisionCart (which is a e-commerce framework for MODX).

      I’m not sure if it’s possible to add it to multiple categories - I’ve not yet used it myself.

        I don’t think VisionCart is ready enough yet.

        If you have very good PHP skills then you may be able to get involved with it and produce a solution.

        If your PHP is not so good then I would use Magento - bear in mind you may have a 6 month learning curve but it is fantastic for clothing websites.
