How to manage external pages

About my first problem, I’ve read your post but I don’t know how to manage a page where I create the code for manage DB or other script. I mean this: I don’t want automatic features for read/write records ... I would like to use existing PHP code in ModX layout.

Suppose that I’ve some pages (MVC) that show records in a table and make some changes in table.... I would like to integrate these pages in modx

Make a snippet and use a line to include your external .php file. You may have to adjust a bit to properly format your code’s output.
