Front End Developer - this can cover markup, styling, javascript/jquery, psd/graphic to browser, interface design and IA - by no means an exclusive list.
For me this ’title’ suits really well as it’s not strictly ’development’ in the programming/database development sense, but it certainly is more than simply creating the visual/graphical aspect of a site.
As far as I’m concerned, taking a visual, whether supplied or self-generated, transfering it into a css pixel perfect, semantic markup framework, transposing this into a cms (obv modx
) and then integrating some cool jquery gizmos, is certainly in the realms of ’development’. Add to this analytics, client training ... a general knowledge of web protocols, cPanel/Plesk, setting up email etc ... and then keeping on top of every new development as it arises ...
That’s what i think anyway!
