I’ve just converted a site to MODx and during the course of this discovered that there are also several sub-domains pointing to various sections of the site - there is also a second domain pointing to the site.
I think I’m right in advising my client to ditch the sub-domains - to me they could just be seen as duplicate content (the sub-domains aren’t pointing to anything that isn’t under the main domain) and whilst perhaps not doing any harm they certainly can’t be doing any good. Anybody got any thoughts?
The second domain is a similar name to the main domain and I can understand why its there - is a 301 redirect the way to go?
