Right-click disable... Any ideas?

it is just one of many applications that will
copy anything on your screen... and I mean anything
regardless of right-click, javascript or whatever
you spend your precious time devising to avoid somebody
to copy or images or text...

Best thing for images is to use watermarks if you do
not want your images copied.

and use something like www.tynt.com to see who copies
your text with copy/paste...

Someone wants your content they will get it. (Firefox hit Ctrl-I)

Everything placed on the web can be gotten to. It may be simple or hard, but it can be done.

It is also, far too easy to set up http://www.httrack.com/ or some other software.

This is a web design community and there are far too many PHP Curl page content rippers.

Also Save Page As "Web page, complete" usually gets anything with a link to it in the page. Or just a screen capture, and then crop out the parts you want.

The point is, publicly available material is subject to use. If you don’t want it used, you’ll have to make it not worth using, or just don’t make it publicly available.

Watermarks are certainly an option on photos. I’m also aware that you can have jpgs digitally signed and automatically monitored - but, the price is way too expensive for what I’m dealing with.

You mention tynt and in the past I’ve seen that some large US corporate websites use it - e.g New York Post. Has anyone here got any experience of it? I know it can be easily circumvented. Is its overhead worth the final result?

Anti-Right click is pointless when someone who wants to copy your content will just go to "View Source" and they have all your content right there!

Unless you combine anti-right click with source encryption, its absolutely pointless.
