Maximum number of pages (IDs)

I have somthing in mind but cannot find it anymore.
Is there a maximum number of useable pages (IDs)?

We are cuurently thinking of a site with ca. 6(languages) x 400 pages

I haven’t followed up the site linked to, but is the point here that Evo 1.0.2 has shed the ~5,000 document limit in general, or that this particular project has a way of overcoming it?

... as far as i understood, they tried to find another approach for caching ( and maybe did )
