linking to specific tab from external page

Hi guys/gals,
I’m using jquery tabs on some site and the content of the tabs is enclosed in DIVs.
The tabs links are called like:

 <a href="javascript:goto(1);" class="tip" title="About">link</a>

I’m trying to create a link from external page that will load specific tab.
anyone mind pointing me in right direction please?

Hi,

without real knowledge of your script i can give you an example only: http://www.ardiman.de/sonstiges/fxconfig.html#gmscripts (i’m using "real" links there, you can simplify the JS [should work with older jQuery too]).

thanks Mithrandir, the tabs I’m working with are similar to this site

I see in your link setup the tabs are divs with unique IDs and on this setup they are classess "box" divs so the first <div class="box"> is goto(0)
