Edited previous post as I think it was a bit hard to understand.
Is it possible to have ditto filter results based a value which is contained in published content? Where the content is generated by another ditto call and varies on each page..
I want to be able to enter values in a TV then use a ditto filter to display a web address from another TV where the first value is present.
But then I want to be able to use another ditto call with a filter to look for a value from the publised content (achieved through the previous ditto call)
Would this be possible? Can anyone think of another way to do this?
Stuggling to get this down in words :/

You may need to look at the order of processing. Snippets, chunks, TVs, etc.

I do some extremely complicated stuff in the backend with MODx, and have found that the simplest answer ends up being the easiest one.
This almost sounds like you are discussing the function of Ditto’s tags.
I could be wrong, but afaik, Ditto will only pull data from documents in the DB. I don’t think there’s a way to have it look at content generated by other snippets on the same page as the Ditto call, even by other Ditto calls.
Even if it could be done that way, I think it would be faster, more efficient, and easier to accomplish, with a custom snippet of your own.
