Selling in the USA

I would love to hear from anyone in the USA about the greetings card culture there.

Let me explain a little more...

I have a client in the UK who is looking to ’break in’ to the U.S. market. We’re very successful with this client in the UK and parts of Europe but I’m aware that in the U.S. you may use different phrases or even spellings. Are greetings cards called greetings cards in the U.S.?

I know this sounds all rather vague but I’m just looking for a few pointers from normal ( ) people who maybe able to help.

Can anyone point me towards a popular website in the U.S. with typical examples of what people actually buy?

My absolute ideal would be to see a snapshot of what the cards on your mantle piece (fire surround)look like this Christmas, to try to judge what is actually being bought - a big ask!
