Search engine optimization- the best way

Could somebody please advise on the best way to optimise my site on search engines.

I do not know how to install the codes either, if you could advise how to place the words ’british’ ’cleaning’ ’council’ on the web design so it arrives first in a google search.

It’s not really a case of just placing the word on the site, there’s a lot to it and it’s not something that happens over night. You could wait months and months to even start to see your work start to pay off. The key think now is having related sites linking back to your site. That will really help boost your rating. Also in the short term consider google adwords.

SEO is like most things web related in that there is no right or ’best’ way to do it. The safest strategy is to read as much as you can about the subject and develop a site that has useful content to an audience. Google didn’t get where it was by making poor suggestions, if you have a good site and follow the conventions- you’ll be fine.
