enterprise level cms

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of other enterprise level cms, I have been asked if I could do a bit of research about it, but have had little experience of anything other than modx, we are bidding for a large property website, so it would need to cater for thousands of pages. I have found many large cms systems but many don’t have demos, at this stage I don’t want sales people pestering me.

Anyone?

I know of this cool ground-breaking CMS that can handle thousands of pages no problem...I think it’s called MODx Revolution It will be easier for you to work with Revo than to learn a CMS from scratch

I would also suggest looking into this product from IBM. Its a great CMS tool especially for the enterprise
level content management tool. Also you can manage thousands of pages and organize it in many different ways.

If you’re talking about a real estate site, then perhaps you might want to consider offloading your property data to their own tables, which would mean that you could easily accomplish this using MODx Evolution.

If that’s the case you could also consider using an IDX/MLS feed and then integrate that as desired...

It’s actually pretty cool that someone from IBM would respond to this thread. Stevo, can you share some more insight as to what some real world requirements and costs are for Content Manger Enterprise Edition?
