Well I am looking for some creative ideas to create a job listing site for a staffing company.
Does anyone have any ideas how to go about to do this?
Maybe make a blog, and then let only select users post in it, and somehow create a subscription?
I would be interested in using modx but no clue how to do it. Any suggestions / ideas.
The NewsManager/NewsEditor [search Extras] snippet is awesome for front-end edit/delete/add
Then its eForm2db and dbedit and options [search the forum with google] for editing custom tables.
And for restricting users through back-end: ManagerManager [search Extras]
Ditto’s request extender rocks, but go Revolution if planning to use more than 5000+ listings (MODx-Documents)
or make use of files and/or custom tables that doesn’t get cached by MODx.
That’s a good idea, how about managing user groups to post via a payment plugin?
You could use paypal-treasure chest, foxycart, gcart etc. and have a code
being the item to purchase and use a "plugin" like

to trigger when register. The code being bought could be a field that PHP or PHx will require to show userinfo for every logged in user...
This is just my thoughts and not anything I have done. MODx 096 is great for around 100 web-users IMO, the user managment and
caching isn’t made for thousands of web users. But if you have a open mind and are crazy stubborn, its very possible.
