Forgive me if I’ve posted this in the wrong place.
I was looking at www.bbc.co.uk today - the new design is really impressive in my opinion. Fantastic layout - some really advanced things happening on there.
Can anyone explain (I know that’s a big question - I don’t expect the technical rundown an the whole thing!) how they put this together. I notice they’re using the file extension .stm but I can find very little info (that I understand) about this. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such good use of ’web 2’ applications.
Even the text is somehow very readable and the site is extremely busy but clear.
I’d be interested to know your thoughts...

I think, could be making this up though, not sure, they interviewed a developer involved in the project in .net a while ago (Javascript and cookies ftw). A client wants something simmilar on a modx build I’m doing at the moment...should be fun...
