is the same rules of passwords applies to capacha images as well?
does span scripts really bothers trying to crack them or simply skip to the next site?
I’m trying to fine the line of user comfort and avoiding spam. digits only seems much easier for most users I would think.
Don’t know why I was thinking on using digits only.
right now I have lowercase caps and digits and still them %^&$# spam bots sending us mail.
when I test it it seems like its working fine, but still I’m boombed with spam.
is this only me or someone else also have this issue with eform capacha?
If you have the e-mail address in you code there is ---> ObfuscateEmail plugin
that encode it.
BobRay provides this nice form -->

Hate spam! >:(
I’ll give it a try and see if it solves it to me.
looks more spam proof than eform. drives me nuts that they can still bypass the capacha.
the emails are using my eform report so it’s not just grabbing the email address from the source but actually submitting it.
Ive had no problems with eForms, maybe because I have used the same capthca-image as for weblogin (in another column div)
I have put the Words in lower case but they are still case sensitive for me!!
SPForm with all the options on is pretty good protection, but it’s probably only a matter of time before it gets broken too. The mathstring option foils them for now but someone will probably figure out a way to parse and solve it eventually.
BTW, if you need eForm, you can alter it to use some of SPForm’s options. IIRC, Sottwell put the mathstring option into eForm at one point. It’s not too difficult -- mostly a matter of using SPForm’s version of veriword.php.
