i know what your on about
used to have those problems too - ie, ff, opera, conqueror etc...
my problems though dramatically decreased since i know YAML!
maybe u have heared about it, or maybe not....
got you something real cool, only problem is that its in german...

and i must mention, its not ready for modx
but its not such a big deal to implement - at least if you know how to make your own template
anyhow, that should solve most of them compatibility problems (havent even had any since to be honessed)
