Permission management - I got confused

Hi Folks!

As always "Let the power be with MODx"

I need to resolve one issue. Let’s say I have a public website (pages are not restricted to specific web user groups). But I want to hava a specific manager user and allow him to edit only one of the pages from the whole MODx tree. How is it possible to do that?

If I add this page to an object group, it looses "public" state, receives a "lock" icon in the tree and a webuser needs to login to see this page. But I want everybody to see but only one manager user to edit the content of this page.

I hope You can help me.

If you put the doc in a *Manager* document group and the manager user in a *manager* user group (don’t use "web" groups), The restriction will apply only in the Manager and won’t affect front-end viewing.
